This two-day course will provide learners with an introduction to some of the principles of leadership, ideal for the inexperienced or new supervisor or team leader. Most companies make the same mistake of promoting good operators and giving them little training or support, and then wonder why months later they are stressed and struggling to cope. This course gives the new leader a set of principles, theory and tools to help them get off to a great start and come to terms with the paradigm shift that is required in the change from shop floor to management.

The course is highly interactive and encourages learners to get involved and have a go. There is an emphasis on self-awareness and reflection and learners are encouraged to create networks with others in similar roles both in and outside of their own company.
