3 Apr. 2026: Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill in the city of Obukhiv in Kyiv Oblast has temporarily halted production after a Russian attack.
Quote: "For safety reasons and to deal with the aftermath, the production process at the company's facilities has been temporarily suspended."
Details: The forced shutdown jeopardises the stable supply of goods used every day in thousands of Ukrainian homes. These include sanitary and hygiene products and corrugated packaging.
Quote: "We hope Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill will certainly return to full operation so that it can continue providing people with our high-quality and much-needed products."
More details: The mill had previously come under a large-scale Russian missile attack. On 14 March, it was reported that industrial premises, office buildings, production facilities and engineering infrastructure had been damaged.
At that time, it was decided to urgently allocate additional funding needed for all restoration work.
