8 July 2025: Toscotec, a leading manufacturer of paper machinery, announces the acquisition of the brand and intellectual property of the company formerly known as Recard, a long-established company in the sector specializing in the production of Tissue paper machinery. This includes the acquisition of know-how, technical drawings, and any other intangible assets.

This strategic acquisition marks a significant step for Toscotec, strengthening its market position and expanding its product and services portfolio, thereby further consolidating its leadership in innovation, quality, and customer-centric strategies.

Following the acquisition, Toscotec is the sole and legitimate owner of all rights related to the brand Recard and its intellectual property, including – but not limited to – the patents, designs, models, trademarks and know-how developed by Recard. Toscotec reserves the right to initiate all civil, criminal, and administrative proceedings necessary to protect its rights, and hereby formally warns any third party against the unauthorized use of designs, diagrams, trademarks, know-how, or any other form of intellectual property formerly belonging to the company previously known as Recard, and now exclusively owned by Toscotec. Any infringement of these rights may result in the immediate adoption of precautionary measures, including injunctions and the seizure of counterfeit products, as well as claims for damages.
