The Paper Industry Technical Association (PITA) produces a number of publications, both traditional paper-based and electronic formats, to keep those employed in the Fibrous Forest Products industry up to date with all aspects of relevant technology. Also included in the publication schedule are directories of mills in various regions of the world (UK/Eire, Benelux, Middle East, Norway and Eastern Europe) which are collated and updated annually.
Aside from publications, the Association organises events where members can meet and network; also, it publicises numerous events organised worldwide by outside bodies which may be of interest to our membership.
Finally, PITA is fully aware of the importance of training to career development, and so facilitates courses given by external training individuals or companies aimed at maintaining and improving the skill base in our industry.
